​​We have developed smart anticorrosive additives that are heavy metal-free, sustainable and most importantly self-healing. Our anticorrosive additives in coatings gets activated only at the onset of corrosion and releases corrosion inhibitor encapsulated inside them directly onto the corroding site preventing further corrosion. Therefore, our additives increase the lifetime of coatings and with less impact on the environment. ​​​

​​​​SAS Nanotechnologies won the Paint the Future Start-up Challenge organized by AkzoNobel. From 160 submissions globally, 21 companies were selected for 3-day accelerator event in Amsterdam. SAS Nanotechnologies emerged as one of the winners with opportunity to collaborate with AkzoNobel.​​​​​
